Yesterday marked the very first day of semester break and man, being unproductive felt SO GOOD. Went all the way to the Immigration Department to renew my passport but it was closed for two days due to Ramadhan.
I was like ''WHAAAT? It's not even puasa month yet why are they having holidays so early." It's like having Christmas holidays on October.
After that it was pure slacking at home, watching several movies consecutively without worrying what to do next. I can live like this for a very long time. ^^
Anyway just a quick post consisting photos of food we had last Saturday during sis's housewarming party. Most food were super easy to prepare and required almost no complicated cooking steps except simply grilling and frying. Do not expect hard-to-cook food from IT people like....pies. Yeah pies are hard to make.

Stacks of seasoned salmon, ready for the grill. *YUMS

Mashed potatoes which were not entirely mashed, you can still bite into small bits of potatoes here and there but they were good. Speaking about mashed potatoes, the best that I've ever tasted was those from TGIF. Super orgasmic, they make your eyes roll 360 degrees.

Vienna sausages. Told you everything was a no-brainer.

Yummy grilled salmon with just enough pinkness :D :D :D

Clockwise : nachos, salsa dip, tuna & cream cheese dip, avocado dip. Using plastic spoons cos not enough cutlery hahaha.

Crooked looking sandwiches. Not involved in making them, so these were none of my business. :P

What else..chicken wings, butter corns, Caesar salad, celery with ranch dressing and what was supposed to be aglio olio pasta LOL. Not bad huh!

a disgruntled + domesticated male dish washer :P

Milli crepe from Humble Beginnings!
Quoted from the site,
''Humble Beginnings' Creations are essentially Mille Crepes. A Mille Crepe is a French Cake with "mille" meaning a thousand. In our creations, there are 20 layers of crepes with a delightful combination of fresh cream and vanilla custard between each layer. The topmost layer is caramelized to give it a nice smoky sugary flavour. Everything is hand-made and hand-layered; a true labour of love.''
Whatever the description says, these are to-die-for. Beats any normal cakes in the world. We had two of these that night! ♥
Later that night, Rohan brought out a fondant cake to celebrate sis's birthday which was WEEKS AGO and also their housewarming. The beginning of two lives together in a nest they call H-O-M-E :)
Cake was from Sugar, Straits Quay.

Deji's leg broke otw back to the house! :(

CONGRATULATIONS!
Man, this post turned out to be not so 'quick.' My eyes are drooping. =.=
G'night, world! Xx

Devil's eggs which I MADE!:D The parsley made them looked so good.
There's a story on how I got my hands on those gorgeous looking English parsleys. I don't eat them but they sure look good for decoration, no?
For those who didn't follow me on Twitter, I KIND OF stole those parsley from an aunty. I was in Tesco with sis getting last minute groceries and at that time, I already had my hands on a packet of dried parsley which is of really ugly dull green. So when we walked to the wet supermarket area, I saw this curly haired aunty with really fresh BRIGHT GREEN English parsley in her basket. And I thought to myself, ''Hey! Those will make better decoration. The colour is so much nicer.''
I walked around the whole wet area looking for those but they were nowhere to be found. :( Asked the worker, he said ''tadi sudah ada satu perempuan ambil. sekarang sudah habis.'' I think God saw my determination or something cos after a few minutes, said aunty put her basket a few feets away from me and went to the next few alleys to grab something, I presumed. In a lightning speed, I TOOK HER FRESH PARSLEYS and PUT MY PACKET OF DRIED PARSLEYS INTO HER BASKET.
Hahahaha can you imagine her shock upon seeing the transformation of her parsley? Man, that sounds weird. Transformation of parsley wtf. Okay end of story. I'm a parsley thief.
