2012!

It's funny how I used to be super excited over new year. NY Eve celebration meant a whole lot to me and it was extremely essential to have new years resolutions back then. Now, I just wanna live my life without being tied up with resolutions. If I feel like being productive, I'll do something productive. If I feel like spending my whole day browsing 9Gag, I will spend my whole day browsing 9Gag.

In 2012, my ultimate resolution is to live life for myself and to the fullest, as goddamn cliché as it sounds.

Gotta Love Mundane Days

IMG_7908
At Gyeongbokgung Palace. Love them to bits and pieces. :)

Final's over and the past few days have been really nice and relaxing. On Wednesday night, I had dinner with Junor, Kidult and Jolyn, followed by supper which turned out to be another meal cos everyone ordered pasta, soups and whatnot instead of snacks! Crazy eaters lol. Won't be seeing them so often anymore until April. Gonna miss you guys so much!!! :(

Thursday, I slept till noon, spent the rest of the day paying my internet surfing debt, read blogs, cooked lunch and made Nathan's Christmas present. *grins*

And yesterday morning, I attended the Chief's Original Bootcamp tryout and I almost diedddddd. If that's the way they're gonna persuade people to join, it's not gonna work. Haha. Waking up at 5 am is torturous enough, but intensive exercises? In the dark??? No thanks I'm still faithful to my bed thank you very much. After Bootcamp, I was surprisingly not sleepy so I cleaned the entire house. God bless me. Followed by an awesome 2 hour nap.

Sometimes, you just gotta love days like this. Days when you can do whatever you want. Won't be long before all these become a scarcity.

New Hair!

After contemplating for what felt like a lifetime, I decided to chop off my hair. Chop chop chop, off you go split ends and leftover curls! I have been having long, curled hair for about two years and even if I had haircuts they were just normal trimming. After getting sick of curly hair, I stopped taking care of it and the curls went super out of place. Since then, my neither-straight-nor-wavy hair really bothered me a lot.

A lot of my friends were really against it :( Kept telling me that I'll regret it, but I can't really remember when was the last time I regretted over something I did. Hmmm..okay, digressed.

TA DA!

I want a personal hairstylist to blowdry my hair everyday can?

Feels so good to be able to run my hands through my hair effortlessly and not get stuck wtf. It definitely looks healthier and sleeker now. A good thing perhaps since internship is just a month away?:P

Oh and I just bought the highly raved Moroccan Oil Treatment. Fingers crossed that it lives up to its hype because it's so darn expensive!!!

Night at Gangnam

Doubt that I will complete my whole Korea trip but nonetheless here are some pictures :) Taken on a Saturday, the night after sis's wedding ceremony. Initially, everyone planned to just stay in and call it a night but I refused to waste time by sleeping! So I persuaded and dragged everyone (except dad who had headache) with me to explore the streets of Gangnam. Hello it was a Saturday night!!!!

Gangnam 1
All dressed up, hair tied up cos I didn't wash my hair =X

Blazer : Queen La Moss
Long sleeve shirt : Mango
Shorts : DIY from old jeans
Bag : Romwe
Scarf : ASOS
Tights : Bercham market wtf
Gangnam 2
Cute grandma! She said her blazer used to fit her perfectly but now..lol. If you noticed, she was actually wearing her pyjamas underneath cos when we decided to go out, she was already preparing to sleep :P

Gangnam 3
Mum and I at the place where we dined / the mascot looks exactly like the owner of the restaurant!

Gangnam 3
Nom noms. We expected food to be mediocre but they were surprisingly good, and cheap!!! And the waitress spoke Mandarin :D

Gangnam's underground shopping mall. Clothes here are not dirt cheap like Bangkok or China, but still cheap. Racks of clothes placed outside the shop as you can see from the photo ranged from only RM17-RM35. That's crazyyy cheap given Korea's high QC. And Malaysians are selling the same clothes at such a hiked up price, just because there's a Made In Korea tag. Oh well, business.

Didn't buy much though cos most were winter apparels.

Get off Gangnam subway station at Exit 5 and you'll be greeted by a lively atmosphere with colourful LED lights, fashionable young people, a lot of restaurants and underground bars. Grandma looked very out of place here :P

So freaking hungry right now :( Sis just ordered Dominos and just right when she submitted her order, it started pouring. F delivery man's L. Looking forward to my chocolate lava cake!
